Mr. Jack Allen Hoffman, 77, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at his residence, following a period of declining health.

Jack was born on January 3, 1946, in Burke County to the late Quentin Lester Hoffman and Lucille Lowman Hoffman. He was a retired truck driver, working for SunBelt Furniture Xpress and attended Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Connelly Springs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Beatrice Abernathy.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Morgan Hoffman of the home, his three children; Annette McCaslin, Jackie Hoffman and Marty Rector, all of Connelly Springs, six grandchildren: Daniel Hoffman, Tosha Gyger, Dallas and Jacob Newton, Rodney Rector and Jody Rector, and three great-grandchildren, Jasmin Hoffman, and Zachary and Kimberly Zimmerman. Also surviving are two brothers, Darrell Hoffman and Tom Lowman, and two sisters, Joyce Warlick and Dovie Reid.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at 4:00 P.M. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Curtis Carroll officiating.  Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Connelly Springs.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 3:00 until 4:00 P.M. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Connelly Springs.
