Uncle Ed you & your family are so special to us. You exemplified so many things for us: duty to country, joy in sufferings, how to love your family well, what it is to be a true gentleman and pouring out love to others. While we are heartbroken we are glad you are whole again & look forward to our future rejoicing together!

Jeanne and family: We learned of Eddie’s death last night. Please accept our love and caring. You all are and Eddie was some of the finest, most genuine, human beings on earth. People like you make the world a better place. Suffering, we are taught, refines our soul. Eddie and your family’s souls surely have and are receiving a lot of refining. Your faith is strong–you are strong. We, along with many others, love, respect, and grieve with you.

Everyone is a better person having known Eddie. He was funny, truthful, and a loving man. He loved his family like no other person could. One day we will all meet Eddie again and he will have that big smile waiting for us. Prayers are extended to all of his family which I can say I am honored to have been his cousin. Rest In Peace Eddie. Love to all of his family.
Uncle Eddie. I joked at the Fish Camp, that you were my hero. And you were! You worked tirelessly but always always had a smile. I remember hearing how when we were little someone egged our home And you searched them down. You stood for what is honorable. You modeled Joe a husband should treat his wife. I bet you and Uncle Kenney are celebrating with mammaw and pappaw Wade. Til we see each other again, know your missed beyond words.
So sorry for your loss , we have lost a friend,a good soilders, just a good person. Eddie will be missed.
