Glenda Arney Winkler Miller, 63, passed away at her home on Saturday, January 20, 2024, following a period of declining health.
Glenda was born on December 20, 1960, in Burke County, a daughter of the late William Earl Arney and Nancy Jane Clark Arney. If you had the pleasure of knowing her, you knew that she cared deeply and loved wholeheartedly, without hesitation. Her generosity extended to anyone who may have needed it. She never met a stranger and could spark up a conversation in any setting. She was a strong willed women who was not afraid to speak her mind and stood up for what she believed in.
In addition to her parents, Glenda is preceded in passing by a sister, Judy Hollifield.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Howard Miller; daughters, Stacey Beach (Stethen), Mary Robinson (Tony), Emily Keller (Jason), and Rhonda Crawford (Chris); sisters, Pam Coffey and Lisa Williams; an abundance of grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
