Mrs. Francesca “Frances” Huffman, 98, of Valdese passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023 at her home, following a period of declining health.
Frances was born April 26, 1925 in Trieste, Italy to the late Francesco Francese and Agata Pastura Francese. She was a member at Waldensian Presbyterian Church where she served in the Presbyterian Women’s group.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Huffman; and sister, Rosaria Lyndon and husband Maxwell.
Survivors include her daughter, Maria Smith and husband Royce of Valdese; and grandson, Corey Smith of Valdese.
A graveside service will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in the Waldensian Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Tamika Garrison officiating.
