Mrs. Florence Ozzy Robinson, 101, of Morganton passed away on Tuesday July 11, 2023, at Burke Hospice, after a period of declining health.
Mrs. Robinson was born October 12, 1921, in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late Pink and
Alice Smith Chapman. Mrs. Robinson was a faithful member of Mt. Home Baptist Church and retired from Broughton Hospital as a CNA. She was a hard worker, loving wife, mother, grand-mother and great-grandmother. Her memory, will forever be cherished by her children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lee Robinson, her ten siblings and her grandchild, Michael Alvin Webb.
Surviving are her son Timothy Robinson of Morganton and daughters, Myra Lee Sheffield of Shelby, Geraldine Bush and Sherion Cook both of Morganton. Also surviving are the apples of her eye a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:00 P.M. Thursday July 13, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese. A Graveside Service will immediately follow at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. David Orders and Rev. Rocky Hartman officiating.

In lieu of flowers please make memorials to your local Hospice or to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

I was so blessed to have got to grow up as a child with her . she sure was a fine lady!!! Never will forget you!!!
I never met this sweet lady but listening about her from her granddaughter Crystal, I knew she was a special gem. Will be praying for peace and comfort for her family and friends.
