Emily Elizabeth Franklin Ollis, 96, of Morganton, NC, passed away peacefully at the Cranberry Assisted Living in Newland.
Mrs. Ollis was born on April 29, 1929 in Burke County, NC to the late Lily Mae Franklin.
Emily was a seamstress, working until she was in her 80’s. She loved to visit the Beach, was an amazing cook and canner. She loved the Lord with all of her heart.
Mrs. Ollis was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Harold Bumgarner and a daughter, Doris Elizabeth Withrow.
She is survived by her son, Herman Bumgarner Also surviving her are Grandchildren Lori Foster, Lisa Frisbee and Timothy Bumgarner, as well as 3 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Per the family’s request, there will be no services at this time.
