Mrs. Elizabeth Eller Mullis, 82, of Valdese, passed away on Monday February 10, 2025, at College Pines, after a period of declining health.

Mrs. Mullis was born, December 14, 1942, in Caldwell County, a daughter of the late Marshall and Helen Inez Hayes Eller.  She retired as a Cancer Register from Valdese General Hospital.  Mrs. Mullis was active with the Valdese First Baptist Church, serving as a Choir member, Sunday School teacher and member of the WMU.  She served for two terms as president of the NC Cancer Society.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Mullis, and brother, William Eller.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David Mullis and wife Kellie of Frisco, TX and a daughter, Pamela Sawyer of Colorado.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Seth Mullis, Gage Mullis, Addison Tucker and Bryson Tucker.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday February 13, 2025, at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. Josh Lail officiating.
