Mr. Dennis Allen Ross, 71, of Glen Alpine, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Amorem Hospice of Burke, following a period of declining health.
Dennis was born January 29, 1953 in Burke County to the late James Albert Ross and Zula Powell Ross. He was a retired mechanic in the auto industry, and later retired from Rexnord.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Ross and by his wife, Brenda Kay Ross.
Survivors include his two brothers, Jimmy Ross and wife Sharon of Glen Alpine and Dave Ross and wife Ann of Wisconsin, and a sister, Christine Meek of Morganton. Also surviving are numerous nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese, with a private graveside to follow later.
