Denise was the baby when Daddy and Mother adopted us four children. She had a wonderful life growing up. No more suffering for my little sister. To our family: Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all our heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Allowing God to be your guide begins with a commitment to trust.
Prayers for the family
While attending church at Valdese First Baptist, I didn’t get to know Denise very well but I did know that she loved her God and her family. She was always ready to lend a hand and offered her help whenever she could that involved activities within the church. She was an excellent cook and often took food to those in need. She loved her family and friends and tried to exude that whereever she went. God bless you, Mike. Denise loved you very much and may God grant to you peace and strength in the days and weeks ahead.
Denise Wilson, what an honor for me to call her my precious friend. Denise had a heart for the homeless ministries. Would cook all homemade food for the homeless people that met in Hickory on Sunday. What a blessing she was to them.
Trunk or treat was also a mission for Denise and husband Mike. They would buy car trunk full of candy for the hundreds of children that came through the parking lot of the church.
Well I could go on and on of the many many ways, Denise Wilson ministered to the community and beyond. She did not just “talk the talk of Jesus, but she walk the walk of Jesus Christ”
,Denise, I will miss you, and thankful that God blessed me in knowing you.
My boyfriend and I didn’t know Denise all that well we helped her out with setting things up on the square on Sunday morning for a little church service. She had a heart of gold willing to help anyone. We will miss her bright smile and the laughter her positive attitude about everything. Go rest high on that mountain Denise. We will miss you so much.
I knew Denise in elementary, junior high, and high school. She was a good soul and quick to help others in need.
