Deitric Lamar Williams, 41, of Morganton, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at UNC Chapel Hill, following a period of declining health.
Deitric was born May 30, 1982, in Burke County to Hattie Williams and the late James T. Poole. He was a quiet person that loved to be happy and make others happy as well.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by brothers, Julian Poole, and John Williams; sisters, Tekela Williams, Pebbles Poole, and Brandy Johnson, special brother, Daniel Frazier; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Pastor Raul Hernandez officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Valdese is assisting the family.
