Danielle I am so sorry for the loss of your Daddy.
I know that horrible feeling. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hugs and prayers my friend! I am here if you need anything or need me to help you in any way. Love you Danielle.
My sympathy and condolences to all of Danny’s family!
Growing up with Danny in Burnsville and living near his house, I spent more time with Danny than anyone other than my parents. Doing the math that would be 1000’s of hours together! Danny and I were the same age and in the same grade (and most often the same classroom) from grade school through High School. We worked together in summers at Ed Buckner’s dairy farm, played baseball, chess, and did many other things together. The stories I could write about our activities could fill several encyclopedia volumes.
Danny was tenacious and fearless! He may very well be the most fearless person I ever met. There is no person or circumstance that Danny would fear.
I learned a lot from Danny and we had fun at everything we did together.
Tom Young….Danny’s 1st cousin
I’m so sorry for your loss. Sorry, I have a dentist appointment at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday so I won’t be able to be there. I am praying for your family!
Pat, Danielle and family we are so sorry for your loss. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Our hearts go out to all of you, love Cheryl, Jessie and Sophie.
I was a late transfer to East Yancey (junior year), and Danny and Tommy adopted me. I was part of some of those stories for two years, until graduation. Danny went off to Warren Wilson, Tommy went to NC State, and I went to Berea, KY. I talked to Danny occasionally and after 4 years of college he helped me get a job on Mt. Mitchell for the summer. From there we lived pretty seperate lives and lost touch. I pray for comfort for his family.
Jess –
Your colleagues in ITS at Appalachian State University are thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. May the happy memories of your father uplift you and help you get through this tough time.
Sincerely,
I am so sorry for the passing of Danny. My heart goes out to you all. There sure was some good laughs when Doug was living at the shop. Especially when you all brought Doug ramps. My heart and prays go out to you all.
