My thoughts and prayers are with Linda and all the family. Clyde and Linda have been dear friends for many years and we have many memories through the years, along with a lot of fun and laughter.
I was so sorry to hear of “Tommy” Flowers’ passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to Linda and all the family. I first met him when we worked together at “Siecor” in the mid-eighties. He invited me and my husband, Bruce to church which eventually led to Bruce’s salvation and call to the ministry. Tommy and Linda were so kind and shepherding to us. He was a truly genuine Christian example, always calm, no matter what happened. He always turned conversations to the Lord and his word. He was the first person I thought of when Bruce passed away 3 years ago. Tommy and Linda were so influential in our spiritual beginnings. His passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of all who were privileged to know him! But praise God we will see him again!
Flowers family, I’m saddened with you for your dear Clyde’s home going, but oh, …how beautiful Heaven must be to , I rejoice he is home, rejoicing evermore !!
The Daniels family loved him dearly, all that was said in the obituary is only a small part of all he did and shared about our Dear Lord all the years we were privileged to share his life, Clyde was always rejoicing in our Lord. God bless you all with peace and comfort . One day we shall share his rejoicing evermore!
I first met “Tommy” Clyde flowers while I was dating his son.
Clyde was aiwaays happy, aiways laughing. I never saw mad. Never.
He made life good for everyone. That’s what he
wanted.
Clyde was a gentle soul that never met a stranger. We often saw him and Linda eating at restaurants in the Hickory area. He would recognize us and express his love for us and share his love for the Lord. His work with the shut-ins and in health care facilities was much needed and appreciated. We all will miss him and express our special love to Linda.
Linda and family,
Roger and I were so very sorry to hear about Clyde. He was one of the most precious human beings we had ever known. He and Jesus are having the best time, celebrating his homecoming. We will see him again soon. You all are in our prayers.
We love you,
Roger and Michelle
