Charles Lee Walters Jr., 33, of Valdese, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at his residence.

Charles was born February 7, 1991 in Burke County to the late Charles Lee Walters Sr. and Lori Harrison Walters. He had a passion for cars and was a great mechanic. Charles was a fun-loving guy who loved to cut up and make people laugh; and being outdoors. He never met a stranger and helped anyone who asked or needed it.

He is survived by his son, Jeremiah Walters; daughter, Leyah Walters; sisters, Brianna Walters, and Amanda “Mandy” Walters; nieces, Willow Rector and Emmily Cross; grandparents, Raleigh and Sharon Harrison; aunt, Crystal McDougal and husband Michael; uncle, Kenneth Harrison; and girlfriend, Kala Smith.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. Marvin Wiley officiating.
