Mr. Lowman was a very special man. (His dear Pat was an exceptional lady as well.) My cousin Eric married CD’s daughter Laura and they are more than family to me (although that is HUGE), they are also my very good friends. CD and Pat extended their hospitality to me on many occasions and I always made it a point to see them when in the area. They not only loved on me when my late husband Gary died, Pat, Laura and the girls came to stay with me for a bit after the funeral. I know CD missed Pat while she was with me, but he NEVER said a word of opposition. It was a sacrifice for them being apart, but I was so very grateful for her presence and the love she gave me.
Because I know how special it is to hear a loved one’s voice, I am sharing the following:
I had the privilege of recording CD in March 2024. He shared a ‘Pearl of Wisdom’ for our 89.1 FM GRACE Christian Radio out of Creston, British Columbia Canada. I have included a link to his bit of wisdom. (I put it in video form for social media.)

I hope the family are encouraged by CD’s wisdom. Little did he know that not only is it heard throughout the world on the radio, his dear family can also be strengthened by the very words CD drew strength from in his struggles.
If you are interested in what his daughter Laura shared concerning wisdom gained from her mother, please listen to this:

I am praying for the family and all who loved CD. I am so blessed to have known him.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Lowman family. I remember attending Rutherford College Elementary School with “CD”.
