I was saddened to hear this news. Though I have been away from Burke County for many years, I often think of the times Dean and I shared a meal together while being on duty, typically night shifts. Prayers go out to the family and I trust God will take you all by the hand during this time of need. Dean was an amazing human being. One that will be missed until we all meet again.
