Bennie Lois Brittain Dale passed away Friday December 16, 2022 at Mission
Memorial Hospital in Asheville, NC. Bennie was born March 16, 1935, a daughter to the late Harold Lenoir Brittain and Sadie Vivian Brittain. She was a member of Glen Alpine United Methodist Church and loved her family
very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Nelson Dale; two brothers, Jimmy “ Bud “ Brittain of Morganton, NC., Joseph ” Joe ” Brittain of Ridgeville, SC; and two sisters, Dorothy Mims of Nevada., and Carolyn Browning, of Morganton, NC.
She was survived by one sister, Virginia Creswell of Glen Alpine NC; a son
Dennis Dale of Glen Alpine; three daughters, Anita Dale Simmons and husband James of Drexel, Greta Dale Hice and husband Billy
of Drexel, and Cindy Dale Smith of Glen Alpine; two grandchildren, Diana Stewart of New Jersey, Brent Simmons of
Drexel; two great grandsons, Dalton Simmons of Drexel and Michael Fowler of New Jersey; and one great great grandchild Nicole Fowler.
Bennie will have a private family service and will be entombed in the mausoleum at Burke Memorial Park in Morganton.
So sorry to hear of Bennie’s passing. Such a beautiful person with a big heart. She will be missed so much. Love to Gin and the rest of her family.
Sadden to hear of Bennies passing. She was the best neighbor I’ll ever have. She had the biggest heart and always had a willing hand to help me no matter the size of the chore. I know you will all miss her greatly
