Mrs. “Bobbie” Barbara Jo LaFone Hefner, 83, of Newton, passed away on Thursday December 22, 2022, at Carolina Rehab after a period of declining health.

Mrs. Hefner was a native of Catawba County and retired from Conover Chair as a sewing room supervisor.

Surviving are her granddaughter, Heather Grier of Newton, and great-grandchildren, Layla Grier and Warren McKinney.

At her request, there will be no service at this time.
