Annie Mae Brittain, 95, of Rhodhiss, passed away on April 14, 2025 at her residence following a period of declining health.

Annie was born on May 19, 1929 in Burke County, a daughter of the late George McKinnley and Mollie Cline Brittain.

She is preceded in passing by her daughter, Debbie Stroupe; son-in-law, Larry Stroupe; sister, Ruby Brittain; brothers, Clyde, Ernest, Howard, Bennie Joe, and Johnny Ray Brittain; and a great grandson, Dominic Stroupe.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Gaye Davis and husband Joel Davis of Rhodhiss; son, Harold and Brenda Brittain of Morganton; grandchildren, Noah and wife Hailei Davis of Wilkesboro, Stacey Davis of Rhodhiss, Ron and wife Digna Brittain of Morganton, Pamela Brittain and George Brittain of Morganton, Kimberly and husband Jonathan Perrou of Connelly Springs, Jennifer Parton of Connelly Springs, and Mollie Hopkins of Valdese; great grandchildren, Wesley, Cheyenne, Makynlee Brittain, Sammy Whitener, Koda Harris, Elijah and Dominique Parton, and Lora Perrou; sister, Emma Aileen Berry of Connelly Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service at 12:00 PM.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11 AM to 12 PM at Heritage Funeral Service on Friday, April 18, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to help with the cost of the funeral to Heritage Funeral Service at 1507 Main St. E, Valdese, NC 28690.
