Sweet Dottie, my heart breaks for you! Always love you & Alfred! Loved his jokes & always smiling. I’m going to really miss him & I know going to be hard for you! He was a wonderful part of our Church! I’m sure he is “home” now & one day we will be with him. Praying that God will comfort you & keep you in His care! I love you Dottie & I’m always here for you. Gail
Alfred will truly be missed by both friends and family. Alfred and Dottie helped raise two fine young men, Harvey and Scott McDowell.
Harvey talks of Alfred teaching him how to throw a frisbee, and making sure he caught the school bus in time. Alfred has always been in their life. As the pastor said during the funeral service, it will be hard to say “Dottie without saying Alfred”
We have comfort in knowing we will see him again. God is good, all the time!
Alfred taught our youth Training Union class at Mount Hebron. He and Dottie hosted our youth group in their home many times for cookouts. My life was impacted by his Christian teaching, cheerful smile, and outgoing personality.
