Mr. Robert Claywell English, Sr., 101, of Valdese passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at CHC-Blue Ridge in Morganton following a period of declining health. Robert was born May 7, 1918 in Burke County to the late Harriett Huskins English and William Wakefield English.
