Mrs. Martha Alice Jordan Franklin, 82, of Morganton, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at her residence, following a period of declining health. Alice was born on October 13, 1936 in Burke County to the late Jay Cook, and Rosie Lee Jordan Cook. She retired from Carolina Shoe Company, where she worked as an inspector for many years.
